After practicing medicine in both outpatient and inpatient settings, Dr. Priyanka decided to focus on treating the root cause of many chronic conditions- unhealthy weight. Through her personalized evidence-based program, Dr. Priyanka prescribes medications tailored to your individual needs for safe and sustained weight loss. Dr. Priyanka is board certified in Obesity Medicine as well as Internal Medicine. In addition to helping her patients achieve healthy weight, Dr. Priyanka currently serves as Medical Director at Texas Treatment Services, Fort Worth, TX. She enjoys training next generation of doctors as a clinical faculty at IM residency program, Medical City Denton -University of North Texas/Texas Christian University, TX. Dr. Priyanka also works as a research investigator with Protenium Research, Hurst, TX. Dr. Priyanka graduated from RG Kar Medical College, Kolkata, India in 2000 with distinction in Forensic Medicine. She then completed her residency in Internal Medicine at PGIMER, Chandigarh, India followed by hematology training in UK. In the US, Dr. Priyanka did her Internal Medicine residency at WVU, Morgantown, Hem-oncology fellowship at UTSW Medical center, Dallas and completed Geriatrics fellowship at Yale University, New Haven, CT. When not at work, she loves to spend time with her family, travel and enjoys her long, reflective walks.
