Dr. McLaughlin founded her practice in 2004 and moved to West Magnolia Plastic Surgery’s current office space in 2007. Her vision for the office was to create a sexy and relaxing atmosphere — staffed entirely by women — to combat the intimidation and awkwardness often associated with a doctor’s visit. West Magnolia Plastic Surgery offers an on-site state-of-the-art operating suite. Patients enjoy not only extra pampering (comfy slippers, pretty gowns and soft blankets), but also the familiarity of Dr. McLaughlin’s regular staff, all with the added convenience and privacy that go with being able to have your procedure completed on-site. The in-house surgery center is dedicated to the memory of Dr. McLaughlin’s mother, Pamela McLaughlin. The Retreat On West Magnolia Medical Spa was added to the practice in June 2017, located on site at the office. Our goal is to provide the best results for a natural looking, beautiful you. The Retreat offers many procedures that can be customized to meet your needs such as the HydraFacial®, SkinPen®, and ThermiRF® skin tightening, including ThermiVa, nonsurgical vaginal rejuvenation. Services extend to include the Sciton laser which allows for fractional skin resurfacing and MicroLaser peel as well as phototherapy “BBL“. We have a broad scope of massage service available as well. The Retreat also houses Dr. McLaughlin’s skin care line, EMd, with products that can be tailored to your specific concerns. All of this in a comfortable, artsy environment on the magnificent Magnolia mile. While you are preparing for your treatment, enjoy a beverage of choice from our full bar or perhaps just sip some champagne while you relax.
